Paper Dress - The Pink Azalea
Spring is definitely here with all the allergies going on in our family. My occasional sneezing and watery eyes didn't stop me from noticing the flowers at Little E's preschool have been in full bloom for the past month. Walking to the classroom yesterday, Little E and I stopped at the curbside of the parking lot, kneeling down to look at the pink azaleas in awe of its beauty.
Today I found a half pack of doilies in the pantry (which I used to wrap up homemade pastries last year). Little E painted them with bright pink water color and we left them to dry for a couple of hours. After lunch, we folded the doilies in 1/8, opened and twisted them into vibrant pink azaleas!
I taped the azaleas onto two layers of mint color tissue paper. And here is our sixth paper dress - The Pink Azalea!
